Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

Our Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Program is designed to provide students with an understanding of criminal offending and the criminal justice process. As society continues to grow, so does the need for this career and the understanding of how and why such behavior occurs. This program stresses an interdisciplinary study of criminal justice in America. If interested in careers in criminal justice, crime prevention, child behavioral problems, adolescent delinquency, or effective intervention, this degree is extremely valuable.

Graduates from the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program will be prepared for careers in law enforcement,corrections and supervision, security, and safety. They may work in the public or private sector. 

Private companies seek professionals to keep property secure and people safe, or to conduct private investigations.

In the public sector, graduates find employment at the local level in police and sheriff's departments, at the state level with state police and prison system, and at the national level with the federal prison system, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security. They may also work in state and national forests as park rangers, fish and game wardens, or in airports as air marshals.
