Allegany College of Maryland and UC Enter Articulation Agreement

Allegany College of Maryland and University of Cincinnati Enter Articulation Agreement for Pre-Occupational Therapy Online Degree Program

The agreement allows those with an associate degree in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program from Allegany College to enter the University of Cincinnati Pre-Occupational Therapy online bachelor’s degree completion program quickly and with all credits accepted for transfer.

Cincinnati, Ohio: April 25, 2022 – University of Cincinnati (UC) and Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) are pleased to announce an articulation agreement. The agreement allows students to complete two years of study at ACM. The ACM credits will transfer to University of Cincinnati’s online Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences- Pre-Occupational Therapy program for the third and fourth year of study.

“This agreement benefits students as it allows them to know that the credits from their occupational therapy assistant degree are accepted as transfer credits and clearly outlines the remaining courses needed to obtain a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati’s Health Sciences- Pre-Occupational Therapy program,” said Lori McAleer, program director at UC. “This 100% online program provides the flexibility so occupational therapy assistants can advance their education while still managing work and personal obligations.”

The new agreement allows Allegany College of Maryland to help students complete their bachelor’s degree at the University of Cincinnati without compromising work and family commitments. Students will have a seamless transfer process and are given a clear path to degree completion.
