Candidates who wish to apply to the Certificate in Principal Licensure program must meet the following requirements.
Students applying to the program must posses a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Applicants must write a goal statement indicating career goals and area of concentration of interest.
Applicants must provide official transcripts of all undergraduate work.
Applicants must have three letters of recommendation, with at least one of which comes from an immediate supervisor that can address the applicant’s formal teaching evaluations.
A current, valid professional teaching license.
A minimum of two years of teaching experience (verifiable).
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in an approved Bachelor degree and Master’s degree.
