Candidates who wish to apply to the STEM Teaching and Learning Certificate program must meet the following requirements.
Prerequisites
Students applying to the program must posses a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
Applicants must write a goal statement explaining why the STEM Teaching and Learning Certificate is of interest to them.
Applicants must provide official transcripts of all undergraduate work.
Applicants must have three letters of recommendation, with at least one of which discusses teaching experience.
Applicants must have a minimum two years of teaching experience in either a school or informal education setting, or an active teaching license.
Applicants must have completed Baccalaureate Degree program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale).
