What is Quality Matters?

Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized benchmark for online course design.  The QM Program is a research-centered approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement for online learning. The primary components are:

• A set of standards (Rubric) for the design of online courses, and online components of hybrid courses,
• A faculty-centered, collegial peer review process for applying these standards, and
• Related professional development workshops and training for faculty and online learning professionals.

The Ohio QM Consortium

UC is a member of the Ohio QM Consortium, the largest statewide QM subscriber. The Ohio Consortium connects first-time users and facilitators with experienced QM facilitators for support and training expertise.
