Admission Requirements

Our Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences program prepares students for health care career advancement or further graduate study.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the program, students must have:

An associate degree from an accredited allied health program*
A minimum GPA of 2.5

*If students have a degree from a non-accredited allied health program, then they will need to have the following prerequisite courses and will need to be reviewed for general education requirements: one course in each of the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology.

FAQs

Can I transfer credit hours from my previous associate’s or bachelor’s program?

Yes. You will need to work with a program advisor to understand what credits will apply and meet the minimum requirement for credit hours completed at the University of Cincinnati.
Can I complete the program part-time?

Programs can be completed full-time or part-time. Many programs are set up to be part-time, with most containing fewer than 10 credit hours in any given semester. We know you have a lot going on, so want to make sure that school can fit into your schedule. Note: There are some exceptions.
