UC’s College of Allied Health Sciences online Medical Laboratory program is dedicated to providing opportunities for laboratory professionals to advance in their career – even beyond obtaining their Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science degree. Graduates of our online BS MLS program are eligible for an automatic, one-time, $1000 scholarship for our online Master’s in Medical Laboratory Science Leadership program to help them as they continue to be leaders in the lab.

What kind of support will I receive during my time in the MLS program?
UC is committed to your success and provides dedicated support including:
- Free orientation for you to learn our MLS program policies and how our Canvas courses and tools will be set up; it also gives you a chance to sample the pace and schedule of our courses.
- A dedicated Student Success Coordinator will check in with you regularly to provide guidance on your plan to graduate, academic success, registration assistance, and navigating the program and UC in general.
- A course facilitator in each course, a dedicated faculty member serving as a “go-to person” for you and a small group of students.
- Dedicated MLS program support including arranging clinical rotations, applying for life experience credit, and proctoring support.
- UCIT provides 24/7 support for Canvas and other learning technology.
- Free download of Office 365 (including Word and Outlook for email) for use during your time at UC.
Will I be eligible to sit for the ASCP BOC MLS exam?

Yes, by graduating from our program, you are eligible to sit for the certification exam. Starting in your first courses with us, we will prepare you with that end goal in mind.
Is Federal Financial Aid (Title IV) available?
Yes. Many of our students qualify for some type of financial aid.
