And once you’ve been accepted, you’ll join a community of dedicated learners who enjoy access to a wide range of programs and personalized support, including expert faculty members, academic advising, tutoring, and career services. So, if you’re considering joining the UC Online community, read on for our comprehensive guide. You’ll find helpful steps and insider information on the transfer process so you can make an informed decision about your future. Transfer Made Easy If you’ve completed your high school education and pursued college courses, you can transfer to UC Online in two easy steps. Apply using our transfer student online application. Submit official college transcripts to the University of Cincinnati Undergraduate Office of Admissions via online systems like Parchment or eScrip-Safe. Transfer Articulation Agreements Crafted in partnership with select institutions, our transfer pathways — also known as articulation agreements — create a streamlined path for students to transfer to UC Online. We have agreements with multiple institutions nationwide to honor many of your previously completed courses. Additionally, you can find Transfer Degree Maps that present a semester-by-semester course comparison, enabling you to choose the best time to transfer based on your academic progress and goals. We’re currently working on making all Transfer Degree Maps — found through the ‘multiple institutions’ link above — screen-reader-friendly, so if you need assistance, please email [email protected]. Transfer Credit Coursework While UC Online accepts transfer credits from colleges and universities with regional accreditation, credits from non-regionally accredited institutions and international universities are subject to an evaluation upon admission — with the acceptance of credits entirely at the college’s discretion. To determine if your institution is accredited, we recommend visiting the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. For additional information and to check the accreditation status of your previous institutions, please consult our Accreditation for Transfer Credit page. Dedicated Support Team When you enroll at UC Online you have access to a dedicated support team—from Enrollment Service Advisors to Student Success Coordinators—to help guide you through the transfer process and beyond. Our dedicated team of advisors is always available to help you refine your educational goals and navigate the process, offering preliminary credit evaluation, pre-transfer advising, major-changing advising, and assistance with exploring program options. With their expert guidance, you can make a seamless transition to UC Online and achieve your academic goals.
