Online MSN Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
Offered by the nationally recognized University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, the online Master of Science in Nursing – Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program delivers the same expert faculty, high-quality education, and dedicated support—all in a flexible format designed for working nurses.
What is an MSN Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner?
Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners (AGPCNPs) specialize in comprehensive healthcare for adults across their lifespan beginning at adolescence (13), so providers get a lot of experience with the lifespan. They may work in primary care or an outpatient hospital setting, but they do not work with children or require experience in pediatrics. Providers who specialize as adult gerontology nurse practitioners practice in community-based settings including private practice offices and other specialties such as dermatology, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics and more.
