What is an MSN Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner?
Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners (AGPCNPs) provide comprehensive, continuous care for patients from adolescence (age 13) through older adulthood. They serve in primary care and outpatient settings, helping adults manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting long-term wellness. AGPCNPs may also specialize in fields such as cardiology, dermatology, oncology, and orthopedics, expanding their expertise across diverse clinical environments.
