The Financial Management Associate degree will prepare you to help businesses capitalize on investments and securities in an entry-level position. This program is a fully online, two-year degree program.
UC’s fully online Financial Management Technology Associate curriculum is designed with your career goals in mind. Throughout the financial management program, you’ll gain the skills and expertise you need to leverage a business-management approach to budgeting, forecasting and analytical processes. This associate program goes beyond developing your financial knowledge. You’ll also enhance foundational skills such as communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.
A career in financial management requires business acumen, the ability to analyze scenarios and draw suitable conclusions, and the skills to successfully tackle complex problems as they arise. To succeed in this program you must possess excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Our IFM certificate allows students to focus on the intersection of these two closely related fields. Classes are asynchronous, some classes are in a 7-week format some are in a 14-week format. You can log on anytime 24/7 to complete your coursework. Some, but not all tests are proctored using exam proctoring software.
Full-time with no transfer credit, it will take you five semesters (under two years) to complete the associate degree including summer semesters. Attending part-time with no transfer credit you can expect to complete the associate degree in two years including summer semesters.
Summer semester for the Associate Financial Management program means a semester similar to fall and spring semester in duration and credits is required to graduate within two years.
