We accept applications for the Nurse-Led Innovation Post-Baccalaureate Certificate each spring semester. Admission decisions are based on applicants’ qualifications and their potential to successfully complete the program, as outlined by the criteria below.
Prerequisites
Submit your online application by the posted deadline for your desired start term. Be sure all required materials are uploaded—only complete applications will be reviewed.

<h3>Transcripts</h3> Unofficial school transcripts are required for the application, including University of Cincinnati transcripts.

<h3>References</h3> Three letters of reference from previous educators, managers, supervising physicians, and Advanced Practice Nurses in the specialty to which you are applying for admission.
Provide a concise written statement (500-750 words) indicating your preparation and passion for the specialty you are applying to. Discuss how your long-term career goals are served by completing the program.
Provide your CV or resume in PDF format. Please be sure that it provides relevant work history and reflects any contributions beyond normal job expectations. Include military service, community service, membership in professional associations, and any certifications you currently hold. Please also include any scholarship, such as publications or presentations.
Yes. The vast majority of our students work throughout their time in their academic program. It is important to assess course load and financial aid to understand how to balance school and work.
If possible, students may cut down on their work hours during a clinical portion of a program.
Most of our programs do not require onsite visits, but there is one exception. If you are interested in pursuing the Master of Science in Nursing-Nurse Midwifery, you will have 1 skills intensives that takes place on campus.
Programs can be completed full-time or part-time. Many programs are set up to be part-time, with most containing fewer than 10 credit hours in any given semester. We know you have a lot going on, so want to make sure that school can fit into your schedule. Note: There are some exceptions.
