Admission into the University of Cincinnati’s Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership online degree program is selective but designed to recognize the diverse experiences and potential of each applicant. Whether you’re starting fresh or transferring credits, we value both your academic achievements and life experiences.

Our program is tailored for aspiring leaders ready to make an impact in a variety of sectors. Whether you’re just finishing high school or have some college experience, we welcome you to explore how the BA in Organizational Leadership can elevate your career.

Prerequisites for Admission:

  • First-Year Applicants:
    • 2.7 unweighted high school GPA or 2.9 weighted high school GPA.
      • If your GPA falls below the required minimum, we encourage you to connect with an Enrollment Services Advisor to explore how your work, volunteer experience, or leadership potential might still qualify you for admission.
  • Transfer Applicants (24 or more college credits):
    • 2.0 cumulative GPA at the college level.
  • Transfer Applicants (23 or fewer college credits):
    • 2.7 unweighted high school GPA or 2.9 weighted high school GPA
    • 2.0 cumulative GPA at the college level

*For students within a reasonable range of the GPA criteria, our admissions team may take a holistic approach, considering factors such as work experience, leadership potential, or community involvement. 

Application Process

The application process is simple and designed to get you started on the path to leadership quickly. Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. Complete your application.
  2. Submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
    • For students with fewer than 24 college credits, official high school transcripts are also required.

Transfer Students

We value your prior academic experience. Submit transcripts from all institutions previously attended with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, and we’ll work with you to maximize the credits you can bring into the program.
