South Texas College and UC Enter Articulation Agreement

South Texas College and University of Cincinnati Enter Articulation Agreement for Social Work Online Degree Program

The agreement allows those with an associate degree in either the Associate of Arts, Social Work program to enter the University of Cincinnati Social Work online bachelor’s degree completion program quickly and with all credits accepted for transfer.

Cincinnati, Ohio: April 20, 2023 – University of Cincinnati (UC) and South Texas College (STC) are pleased to announce an articulation agreement. The agreement allows students to complete two years of study at STC. The STC credits will transfer to the University of Cincinnati’s online Bachelor of Social Work program for the third and fourth years of study.

“The Associate of Arts in Social Work at South Texas College helps prepare students for transfer to the University of Cincinnati’s online Bachelor of Social Work program in an effective and cost-efficient way while ensuring students do not sacrifice quality in programming and skill mastery. Students who transfer and complete their Bachelor’s in Social Work at UC will find shared values between these programs, such as preparing learners for their chosen career path with competency-based skill development and real-world supervised practice,” said Dr. Wayne Kinney, Program Director at UC. “We look forward to welcoming you into our family, here at UC. We are honored that you chose our school to help you achieve your academic goals.”

The new agreement allows South Texas College to help students complete their bachelor’s degree at the University of Cincinnati without compromising work and family commitments. Students will have a seamless transfer process and are given a clear path to degree completion.
