Building on a tradition of excellence and innovation, the MS in Pharmacy Leadership from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy is one of the only programs of its kind in the US and among the first offered online.
This program combines leadership and professional development content in a series of health care business and management courses, resulting in a customized learning experience to prepare pharmacists for advancement in their careers as leaders and managers in the pharmacy field.
We offer both the Master’s in Pharmacy Leadership as well as the Pharmacy Leadership Graduate Certificate online to part-time students.

With an MS in Pharmacy Leadership, individuals advance their leadership and management skills while building knowledge of the issues facing the health care system and changes in business operations. In this program, pharmacists prepare for career growth advancement in roles such as supervisor, manager, director, and clinical coordinator.
Students in the programs are working pharmacists or student pharmacists from a variety of practice settings; independent and chain community pharmacies, health-system inpatient, outpatient, and clinical pharmacy, federal pharmacy, managed care, industry, long-term care, and more.
Whether you are a pharmacist or a PharmD student, an MS degree in pharmacy leadership will put you on a trajectory for success.

The MS in Pharmacy Leadership program is typically completed in 5 semesters or 1 and 2/3 years if taken part-time.
For the MS in Pharmacy Leadership program, a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 or foreign equivalent is recommended.
