Zane State College and UC Enter Articulation Agreement

Zane State College and University of Cincinnati Enter Articulation Agreement for Social Work Online Degree Program

The agreement allows those with an associate degree in either the Associate of Applied Science, Social Work Assistant program to enter the University of Cincinnati Social Work online bachelor’s degree completion program quickly and with all credits accepted for transfer.

Cincinnati, Ohio: February 20, 2023 – University of Cincinnati (UC) and Zane State College (ZSC) are pleased to announce an articulation agreement. The agreement allows students to complete two years of study at ZSC. The ZSC credits will transfer to University of Cincinnati’s online Bachelor of Social Work program for the third and fourth year of study.

“I am so proud to be part of this agreement between Zane State’s Associates in Applied Science and The University of Cincinnati’s Bachelor of Social Work Distance Learning programs to ensure that all the hard work students put into the associate’s program at Zane State is used to their advantage in partially fulfilling the requirements to achieve a Bachelor of Social Work degree,” said Dr. Wayne Kinney, Program Director at UC. “I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership and look forward to supporting these students on their continued academic journey.  Go (Future) Bearcats!”

The new agreement allows Zane State College to help students complete their bachelor’s degree at the University of Cincinnati without compromising work and family commitments. Students will have a seamless transfer process and are given a clear path to degree completion.
