The University of Cincinnati Online’s Computer Technology Endorsement is for certified and/or licensed educators to develop their technology skills to improve student learning in online and blended settings, while providing leadership in educational technology within their schools. Please note, our Computer Technology Endorsement is only available for licensed Ohio teachers.
Our fully online, 15 credit hour program can be completed as quickly as one academic year. Integrating technology into teaching can increase student engagement while providing an individualized experience. These skills have become increasingly crucial in today’s modern world. Teachers need to be prepared to conduct classes remotely, and in blended formats where not all students are physically in the classroom.
If you’re an educator outside the state of Ohio, you may be interested in our Blended Online Learning and Teaching (BOLT) graduate certificate. BOLT teaches current, technology-based learning modes, which require very specific skills in combining facilitation, collaboration, learning design, management, and assessment.
The University of Cincinnati Online also offers a Master’s of Education in Instructional Design and Technology degree. Our M.Ed in Instructional Design is a 30 credit hour program that sets students up to meet online teaching demands by gaining skills in education, design, and information technology.
The Computer Technology Endorsement at the University of Cincinnati Online prepares teachers to effectively design and implement technology rich, learner-centered experiences in K-12 educational environments. Apply learning and design theory, address the challenges of technology integration, and prepare for contemporary and future classrooms leveraging the latest trends in learning technology integration. Design your future. Elevate your career.
