UC Online’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program is ideal for registered nurses seeking an advanced degree in women’s health. The program prepares nurses to become primary care providers for female patients, promoting wellness and disease prevention throughout a woman’s life.

Our flexible program is offered entirely online on a full or part-time basis with three start dates a year. You must already have a BSN to enroll in the program. Though not required, the most successful students will already have a year or more of work as an RN.

What is Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner?

The Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program prepares nurses to diagnose and manage common and some complex medical conditions in female patients through their lifespan. These advanced-practice nurses focus on reproductive, obstetric and gynecological health, providing diagnostic care and treatment, as well as preventive health maintenance.
