The BS Health Sciences- Behavior & Occupation Studies is a challenging and rewarding program designed for occupational therapy assistants looking to complete their bachelor’s degree completely online. Designed to be completed in 2 years of full-time study, but with the flexibility of this 100% online program, students can enroll part-time and work at their own pace.

Requirements: Students must have completed an associate degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program and hold, or have held in good standing, state licensure to practice as an occupational therapy assistant. A minimum 2.67 GPA is required for admission into the program.

The University of Cincinnati is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Program courses are taught by knowledgeable instructors who value leadership, research, teaching, and service.

An associate degree in occupational therapy (up to 68 credit hours) transfers seamlessly into the program. Our online curriculum (52 credit hours) focuses on an array of foundational coursework and includes a built-in minor in psychology. Content areas include anatomy, pharmacology, nutrition, and biomechanics.

The coursework in the Health Sciences - Behavior and Occupation Studies program allows you to simultaneously complete a minor in psychology while in the program.
