Health Sciences Curriculum
The BS in Health Sciences curriculum balances foundational subjects with the in-depth study of anatomy, pharmacology, nutrition, and biomechanics. Additionally, our coursework allows you to simultaneously earn a minor in Psychology through our partnership with the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences.
To enroll in the program, students must have an associate degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program, have held state licensure to practice as an OT Assistant, and have a minimum GPA of 2.67. Review our sample Health Sciences Curriculum to learn more about our coursework.
Occupational Therapy Graduate Programs
If a graduate degree is your end goal, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from UC Online can set you apart from the competition. Designed for students wishing to pursue a graduate degree in occupational therapy, our courses satisfy the most common prerequisite requirements and carry with them the University of Cincinnati reputation.
Occupational Therapy graduate program admission requirements differ among institutions, so students should review prerequisite courses relevant to graduate programs of interest and work with their advisor to reach their goals. Due to the competitive nature of admissions to most OT graduate programs, completion of this degree does not guarantee acceptance to an occupational therapy program.
