As an approved SARA institution, University of Cincinnati is in compliance with Kentucky regulations to offer programs to residents of the state.
Teacher Education: Educator preparation programs require the approval of the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). If you seek admissions to any of the above-referenced programs, please contact the Academic Director, Laura Dell at firstname.lastname@example.org, prior to applying to the College.
For more information regarding teacher licensure requirements in KY, please visit the Education Professional Standards Board's Website at http://www.epsb.ky.gov/mod/page/view.php?id=117.
Nursing: The University of Cincinnati College of Nursing no longer accepts distance learning admission applications in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPC-DL) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-DL) from the following Kentucky counties: Boone, Kenton, and Campbell. The decision to restrict admissions was in response to increased local competition for preceptors and viable regional clinical sites in primary care. Students who reside in the above counties are encouraged to apply to our onsite programs. Please refer to the College of Nursing website for additional information related to residential program opportunities and respective application deadlines at http://nursing.uc.edu/academic_programs.html.
