The Cincinnati Online Master of Science in Sport Administration degree program is designed to cultivate the next generation of sport industry leaders in athletic administration and facility and event management. The program provides students with industry-specific leadership skills and a strong technical foundation of the sport business, helping students to be successful in the competitive field of sport management. Graduates will enter the $450 billion Sport Administration industry with skills in athletic administration, facility management and event management.

 

Successful students will be able to think critically and make ethical decisions. To be a successful leader in this field, one must also demonstrate confidence, honesty, creativity, collaboration, communication skills and a strong work ethic, and the ability to motivate others to succeed.

 

All students will demonstrate knowledge in three core areas:

  1. Integrate and apply the knowledge and skills to develop best-practice approaches within sport administration.
  2. Utilize research methods to address problems, issues, and opportunities.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to display behaviors consistent with being a well-educated, ethical, and competent sport management professional.

 

Program Overview

The Master of Science in Sport Administration online program is designed to be completed in as little as one year for full-time students. Program courses are taught by eight accomplished and practicing professors who continue to work in the Sport Administration industry via research, partnerships or service.
