Information Technology is a fast-evolving field as large technology companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Facebook gain bigger influences on the world economy, especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Cybersecurity, as a crucial function of IT, has already became a highly profitable and independent industry by itself, serving the government, private businesses, and individual consumers. It is estimated that cybersecurity-related businesses will continue to grow faster than the national industry average in the next decade. While there are no guarantees, many of our alumni have gone on to have successful careers in the industry.

Programs can be completed full-time or part-time. Many programs are set up to be part-time, with most containing fewer than 10 credit hours in any given semester. We know you have a lot going on, so want to make sure that school can fit into your schedule. Note: There are some exceptions.
Yes. Our online students are no different from our on-campus students in that way. You get a specific ID that you can use to navigate different systems at UC and for potential student discounts.
