Online Master's in Sport Administration
UC Online’s Master of Science in Sport Administration program allows you to advance your career in interscholastic or intercollegiate athletic administration in as little as a year and completely online! Take the next step with this one-year degree and be on your way to assuming a role as a skilled sports manager, athletic director, or assistant athletic director. You will learn to meet the demand of colleges and high schools as you become skilled in sales, development, corporate partnerships, finance, public relations, marketing, facility and event operations, and compliance and student-athlete support services.
As a UC Online Master’s in Sport Administration student, your curriculum would be fully customizable. In this way, you can create a high-quality, autonomous learning experience that matches your career goals. You will develop skills in courses that are designed around real-world application, as you learn about industry partnerships and research-based best practices.
The program will teach you skills such as risk management, policy development, event management, and marketing. Classes include Strategic Athletic Marketing and Communications, Sport Finance and Budgeting, Sport and Social Context, and Athletic Governance and Compliance. You can choose to either write a master’s thesis or complete a capstone project or portfolio. Completion of the program will prepare you for employment as an athletic director, media relations director, facility manager, director of operations, and more!
