MEET YOUR PROGRAM DIRECTOR: GI WOONG CHOI
Dr. Gi Woong Choi is an assistant professor of instructional design and technology. Before coming to the University of Cincinnati, he was an assistant professor of human-computer interaction at SUNY Oswego. He is a learning scientist by training and has a background in human-computer interaction and user experience. Dr. Choi received his Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State University. His current research interests include artificial intelligence in education, mobile learning, game-based learning, informal learning, problem-solving, makerspaces, educational affordances of technologies, learning technologies in higher education, HCI in education, and more. Dr. Choi also has professional experience in game-user experience design and GUI research and development.
